Prof Ronita Bardhan

Dr. Ronita Bardhan is Assistant Professor at Centre for Urban Science and Engineering IIT Bombay. She holds a PhD in Urban Engineering from The University of Tokyo, Japan, aMasters in City & Regional Planning from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, India. Dr. Bardhan was nominated by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and is recipient of the Japanese Government Monbuka gakusho Scholarships. She is a member of IEEE-GRSS, Associate of Institute of Town Planners India, Member, EASTS (Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies) and Member, Council of Architecture, India. She has authored numerous publications in reputed international journals and conferences. She worked on SMART urbanization with a primary focus on persuasive technology forSMART citizens, urban informatics, urban forms and quality of life
